What age would you let your chicks go to a new home? My friend wants two of mine but I am unsure of the age they need to be to send them on their way?

Happiest in the countryside.
Breathe deeply, and let the butterflies fly in formation!

Hi,
We're about to pick up our first girls shortly & they'll be 8 weeks old.
Went to buy 4 - and ordered 8!
Can't wait!

Personally if I was giving some chicks to a friend I would just wait until they don't cuddle up to mummy anymore  that to me is a good indication that they are going it alone and are okay. Hope this helps
