Picked the first cauli last week, it was perfect  picked the 2nd today, the ´flower´ was not too tight, so thought I´d better pick it (still small though) I cut it in half and the inside of the cauli had brown slimy tunnels :shock:  had to throw it away   The leaves had had some cattarpillers on, which I had picked off (small cabbage white ones) and stamped on!! No sign of a bug in the cauliflower.  Was so looking forward to it for tea tonight

shame.  I remember once cutting a brocoli head in half only to find an enormous beetle inside it.  put me off for ages and I always check really carefully now!

Mine are about quarter of an inch tall in their seed tray. :shock:
