Hi another question for anyone out there
we have four 20 week birds which roam free in the garden and when let out the coop first thing they have a mad hour squaring up to each other with no particular one being the worst then they settle for most of the day and spend time in a group all friends, then towards the evening they all kick off again then its bed time

any suggestions what their up to

Competition for food possibly.  Hungry first thing in the morning and need extra food last thing to get them through the night

Where is their food and water stationed :?:

Hmmm... That was my only idea I'm afraid  :(

Have you had them long, are they new to eachother, perhaps they are stillsorting out their ranking.

Is there plenty of space for them in the coop????

Might just be sorting out who's boss like Aunt Sally said.

I can't think of any other reason  v strange

Are they definitely girls?
Saying that when my girls (2 sisters) were about that age they would square up to each other.  It would only take one to flap their wings and the other one would take offence and they would end up toe to toe staring each other out, reckon its a hormone thing.
They are best friends now.
I reckon if they are definitely girls they'll just settle down.
