leggy seedlings

My tom seedlings have gone a bit leggy. When I re-pot can I pot them a little deeper to reduce this?

pot them upto the first set of leaves has been the advice i was given and it worked!

Tomato plants will throw out roots from the burried stem.

I've just done this with all my toms and cues. Repotted them from the propagator into the polystrene cups I salvaged from work. I have found in the past it gives a really strong root system.

I usually do mine when the second set of leaves start to appear, works for me.
