Hi everyone stupid question but here we go.

I'm currently have a cucumber plant about 6inches tall and i was wondering if it could be grown outside instead of inside of a unheated greenhouse?

Cucumber variety is Cucumber Slangen (r)
Longo da China

I got this off ebay in a pack, the seeds should be well in date.

The reason i am asking for advice is because my greenhouse keeps being destroyed by the gales and the atrocious weather we've having.

Thanks for any any advice :)

Even ifs a variety that can be grown outdoors they're frost tender so it can't go out until late May/early June.  Put it out now and it will not survive.

I'm planning on growing cucumbers outside but I'm not even sowing them until Mid-April.

Sorry, its fix the greenhouse or let it die and resow.  :(

last year I grew a greenhouse variety in one of the zip up plastic growhouses - It was very successful.  But it's far too early yet to do that  :!:

if green house leaks in the cold wrap in bubble wrap
always have a target
and an objective.
