I had some clootie dumplings the last time I was in Scotland and I loved 'em. I can't find a recipe for them anywhere or find anywhere to buy them from. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Many thankyou's.

I'm getting hungry now!

I tend to use treacle instead of the golden syrup for a richer, darker finish and you can use demerara sugar as well instead of plain white sugar.
