Sneaky hens
After my Amberlinks laying their ends in the builders yard and me covering their laying area up I thought they had decided to lay in the shed as we had been getting a couple of extra eggs a day and I have seen an Amberlink in the nesting box.

Came home from a school meeting tonight to be met with the "present" of 10 eggs found behind the shed by my youngest daughter!  All the same size and smaller than the ex-batts eggs.

I can see i am going to have to have a daily search under every conceivable place they could lay, would hate to think of a fox finding the eggs and eating them. Then deciding a visit into my field and yard was required.
