I got my first 1/2 plot last Aug, it was in quite a mess and being quite late on in the year i thought i would leave it until this spring! I have just got it rotovated (it looks better already!) but now i have this big plot of lovely churned mud and not to sure where to start! I have read up quite alot and recieved some good tips from other plot owners! also got seeds on the go already..... so some-what there i think!! Im just unsure where to start with the manure side of things, i.e. is it too late? do i need to lay it over the whole plot? what should i avoid? that so of thing!

My husband keeps telling me 'we all need to start some where'!
So any tips and advise would greatly appreciated!

Hi Summer-sun welcome to the forums     manure where your putting your  spuds, beans etc not where you are putting anything like carrots or parsnips. Don't worry to much about it for this year you can always use growmore or chook manure pellets to name but a few instead.
