...has so far consisted of the following:

- Putting new felt on the shed down the field, as the wind had blown off the old stuff, chickens now safe and warm again

- This morning we turned a large old crate-type thing into a coop for tha bantams in the back garden, its marvellous and have alot more room now!

Tomorrow i'll be collecting another bamtam for the garden and a HUGE cockerel for the field chickens as these are looking for a new home.

Better than the decorating we planned for eh?

I'm with you, we've sorted out the fencing on the field, set up the brooder for the chikens when they hatch, and just realised that our lovely cat minnie is going to have some kittens, this will be her second litter in two years, she was such a good mum last time.

'Neville' the cockerel has been installed in with the field chickens and the lavender girl is home in the garden with the bantams! They don't think much to the snow...
