Just found mine today, all doubled up.  Was told it was only slightly leaning by my father in law.  Talk about under statement of the year!

I set off for work at 7am ,powercut so rushing, gave the greenhouse a quick look and thought all was fine.Got home at 3pm and went to check that the netting was on the broccolli and saw that 9 panes were gone in the GH,by the door and in the back right corner. Not a single shard had fallen into the GH and I couldn`t see anything that might have hit the glass to take out 2 big sections like that and send the glass so far out.Luckily all seedlings inside the house at the moment and no other damage...still cann`t understand why the glass all fell outwards though....  :? Comisserations to everyone else too.

I am greenhouseless (sortof) at the moment - having recently moved - its in bits!  However after my fathers experiences with 'em blowing over I installed mine in my last garden so that all bar a tornado would move it.  I sunk old railway sleepers into the ground as "footings" attached the greenhouse to these by 6" coach screws... it never went anywhere, the odd pane got blown in but it never shifted....

Yup - I am right there with you     what a night.

I was chitting in my mini greenhouse.  It blew over and then went around the garden like a big rocket, scattering tatties all over.  So now they are no longer sorted by type and I'll just have to see how they grow and guess what is what when they come out.

Went to the lotty expecting to see my weed fabric wrapped around someone's shed but it was all in place and I was excited to see my first garlic in my fleece tunnel looking spiffing already  8)

Very dry though, despite the rain.....might get myself a camel this year.

We lost all the guttering down the side of the house and a hip tile on the roof and a bell cloche in the garden has vanished. Yesterday morning I had to ring our neighbours at 7.30 to tell them that their guinea pig hutch had blown over, luckily when they went out the guinea pigs were OK.

spent most of today dismantling wrecked greenhouse. Managed, with a bit of ingenuity, to make a good greenhouse, albeit half size, out of the bits! looks to be just enough polycarbonate glazing left to make a coldframe as well :D

Feel really sorry for all you guys!
We don't have many greenhouses out here on the island. One of my neighbours has a polytunnel which is hidden in the lee of his house and surrounded by a 2m high fence. It hasn't blown away... yet...

if you get strong winds and have plenty of space around your greenhouse, then it would be a good idea to get some thin polypropylene rope and guy it down! you could grow climbing plants up the rope :D
