Over he last 2 weeks Ive had cause to order stuff for work from what felt like all four corners of the planet.

UK - 2 Days
Canada - 2 Days
USA -3 Days
Germany - 3 Days
China - 5 Days
Poland - not dispatched yet.

I have to say I was really impressed with the delivery speed from Canada, less than 48 hours from order to being here, even though I got stung with a hefty import duty.

Yes, it's really weird that local orders can, sometimes, take longer than ones from abroad.....

Things have certainly improved.  In the past I've waited weeks for things to be dispatched and then a few more weeks for them to arrive, it just struck me how small the world has become when I can sit at my desk and order from essentially where ever and have it arrive in a few days.

Our close friends son is a pilot he flies a cargo plane [empty] to China every week then back full for Temu they do not have any warehouse here just dispatched from plane  It does make me wonder about the fuel he said depending where they are parked it can use a tonne of fuel just taxiing to runway.
