Radio Garden
« on: September 23, 2024, 02:35 »
Yesterday, while taking a walk, I was trying to listen (via internet and smart phone)  to one of two radio stations operated by the University of Georgia. The signal was not good, but there was a helpful link to a website for something Radio Garden, and specifically to an address where I could listen to my station.

Here is the amazing thing: Radio Garden has links to literally thousands of radio stations around the globe. Want to listen to what they are playing in the Falkland Islands? There was a link to Radio BFBS in Stanley (they were playing a Nicki Minaj tune when I listened in; maybe the sheep like it).

Radio Garden has a web version and also an app.

SO... my question to you is this. Are there any great radio stations that you suggest that I look for next? City name plus frequency or station name is usually enough to get started.
