My plot partner got some seeds of this from a chum.  It went in between the rows of summer cabbage and has taken off well.  Tender enough for a salad if picked young and good stir fry or steamed if a bit older.  I'm treating it like chard but got it netted just in case.  Reckon this is a good un and will grow it again.
Bonus is that my eldest is called Jack and sent some seeds off to him

Also known as Red Russian. The flower stems of this kale are particularly good to eat too, bonus crop.
