Hi all
As we are under attack from the slugs at present I am looking at options beyond pellets. I have used nematodes in the past but they are said to not work well on clay.
Has anyone had success with copper tape? RHS seems to damn with faint praise but as they are being sold surely they should work??

Someone on here mentioned a copper mesh rather then a tape. Had no experience of either but see what others think.

I have tried copper tape with my potted plants in my backyard. I think it gave some protection but certainly was not a total protection. With time the copper corrodes and become s ineffective so it only really works for 1 year. Personally I use slug pellets now.

I used solid copper rings for my delphiniums, they worked, but they are very expensive nowadays
