Re-using tomato blight compost…
« on: October 23, 2023, 20:40 »
As the title says really. got a few sacks of compost that my toms were in that had blight. I thought blight was an airborne issue so is it ok to use the compost as a mulch on say raspberries or blackcurrants or even rhubarb?
I get that it may be wise not to use on an area where toms or potatoes may grow but don’t want to waste it

The usual advice is that blight only lives on living material,so compost should be fine
