Apart from being an innuendo in Round the Horne, I've discovered mooli or daikon radish. Put in a short row and only got two left. They grew pretty quick and are quite versatile: coleslaw, stir fry or roasted. Fair enough so far but they also get their toes deep into my heavy clay soil and that bit has gone all crumbly ( for the time being).
