Dobies Bargain
« on: February 21, 2008, 11:18 »
Just dropped by Dobies in Cirencester for a little mooch about and they had three Arthur Bowers heated propagators in their clearance section for £8 each - normally £41.99! Stoked. I grabbed two for me and one for the father in law.

They also had two of the really triple bay ones that included all the trays and lids etc down at £35 each (form about £90) but I just don't have the space for that sort of equipment.

Stoked!
Good beer, good BBQ and good friends.

My local Dobbies just seem so expensive.  I have never spotted a real bargain yet.  I thought when Tesco took over they would reduce the prices, but if anything they seem to have gone up.  So I'm glad some one found a reduced price, perhaps it will spread to MK one day.

I should probably expand on this a little - they were reduced but only because the packaging was mashed! It wasn't a special offer - just a damaged box!

Still a bargain though!!!

You're right!  I went and looked and found them still at the same price. I did my best though to get a reduction, stating they were reduced at other stores, so how come they weren't here

Oh well I tried. Coulda worked and you'd all now be the proud owner of £8 leccy propagators 8)
