My PSB is just beginning to produce. Is it worth feeding it with a high potassium fertilizer to promote development of florets or is there no advantage to be had? All of the plants are in containers and were fed with chicken manure pellets when planted out last year.

 Personally l would not think that feeding PSB at this stage is necessary . By cutting the central floret first the smaller side shoots will be encouraged to grow and regular cutting of these will extend the cropping time.

I've got some in  big containers (fish boxes) in the cold greenhouse. Like yours they're just making the first spears.  I'm going to give them some tomato feed for no better reason than I've got some sitting here that was left from last year!
