 has anyone started on there allotments yet ours is still to wet but I have seen some people on there allotments in other paces we took some manure over my daughters allotments the other day and there where some folks working on there plots but then the soil there is light and workable

If you mean is the soil clear and ready to use, yes. If you mean is necessary winter pruning done yes. If you mean is the home made compost that's ready to use spread, yes. If you mean winter onions and spring garlic planted yes.

Just tidying up so far. Plus sown some leeks and onions and started first earlies chitting Need to stop myself sowing too much this early.

Still tidying, but have sown onions and sweetpeas

I'm cheating, of course, due to location. 

Peas are up and starting to climb, not quite as vigorous as last year.
Carrots and radishes are inter-cropped, a few carrots are close to harvest size.
Swiss chard and lettuce are growing well.
Spinach is at harvest size.  For salads, we are cutting individual leaves, not taking whole plants.
Parsley planted, some seed leaves are starting to show.
Turnips (for greens) are growing thickly.  Vigorous, but still small.
Rhubarb is planted, and growing (no harvests for a couple years).
Red and yellow long-day onions are started from sets, in flats, some are sprouting.

Still working on creating new raised beds for this year.

I need to replace the fence with a better, more permanent one.

I still have some seeds to buy for this year. I have many seeds from last year that should be in fine shape.

Mine is under black plastic because of hip operation.

We've done some tidying up on our sons. Compost bins have been built and paths have new wood chip.  Asparagus bed ready to be planted.

I've done tomatoes and sweet peas.

Most beds are composted (the others have crops in them), paths are topped with woodchips and peas are sown in guttering.

Tidying and soil prep for me so far with just onions sown.

I've  been pottering about weekly there, still picking sprouts, winter cabbage, still lots of beetroot and radish in the ground. Lots of leeks too. All my salads have survived the very mild winter, so hopefully should have lots of leaves from them in March and April before they flower. I've spread all my homemade compost and a lot of seaweed over some beds.

Yep, on Tuesday I planted 4 Swift potatoes in the poly tunnel

Mum may I ask how you get your sweet peas started and out this early? I start mine in March and don’t plant out till May, however the results aren’t great, they are often wispy and not very productive. Any tips most welcome!
