Please can anyone tell me if my home made garden compost will be suitable for growing potatos. I do have rather a lot of it! It comprises of teabags, egg shells, wood shavings, all veg waste, grass clippings etc. No meat or dog waste etc. thanks

Have to admit this is the mix I usually put in my bean trenches ... but so long as it is well rotted and in the bottom of the trench can't see why not!

Having said that spuds are very greedy feeders that's why most use manure!!
