Gooseberries, does anyone know why gooseberries would fruit green one year, red the next and then green again? The middle one is remaining red but the two end ones are green again.
Love the Bee, plant a flower :-)

My red ones start off green then turn red as they ripen.

If they're a type like Xenia, that's normal - ours are all sorts of shades between green and red!

Netted them only yesterday, as Mr Blackbird has got his eye on them as we speak...
