Can anyone Id this please

Just to look at it could be a  courgette or some similar type of veg although the true leaf does not look the same. Also hard to tell because of the lack of scale in the photograph. It is not alone could the have been a veg plant grown there last year gone to seed?

Could it be a comfrey seedling?

Yes I would say borage as well.   It is a pretty blue flower and attracts lots of bees, but it does get quite big.  I pull them out if they are going to be in the way, but leave a few to grow. 

It self seeds a lot, so if you like things neat, it might be best to weed it out.

You’re right it is what you say there was a plant there last year so they must’ve been the seeds of it
