A Seizure.
« on: August 23, 2020, 12:58 »
Can somebody please explain to me the difference between a massive seizure and a stroke.   Friends husband has had the former and is in a coma and she has been told he will not recover.    Mrs Bouquet

Sorry to hear about this :(
A seizure is an electrical change in the way the brain works, similar to an epileptic a fit, whereas a stroke is a bleed in the brain.
Depending on the size of both, you may completely recover, have some level of disability, or pass away immediately or over a short period.
