If my experience is anything to go by, you'll need to get some protection in before you plant out. My rabbit problem started the year the neighbour's cat disappeared. They ate the tops off my onions - which recovered but they weren't as robust and big as anticipated.
The rabbits didn't touch my rhubarb or potatoes, but everything else was fair game. Now the little devils can only look and yearn!
