I wish I could remember to get some Welsh Onions going - a task I forget to do every year...!

Got some Basil going somewhere for the toms though, and a sweet onion would just make the grade!

Growster you can buy the seeds I have seen them sold online... don't ask about authenticity though but I would assume they a genuine    This onion is the very thing for your tomatoes and basil a touch of good olive oil and a hint of balsamic... hot summer afternoon sitting in the shade eating lunch... heaven!
 An onion I grow that is close , but not quite the same, is long red of florence easily grown and freely available from many seedsmen. It actually keeps for a couple of months but you may already have grown them.

No, we haven't really concentrated on any onions other than springs, so this is very interesting!

The garden prohibits any large-scale rows of veg now, hence the smaller 'patches', but I really do love growing shallots when we have room - we used to, and they lasted for ages!
