We're in the process of exchanging contracts so we can move into a new home. We'd arranged some of our rellies to help us to take our packaged items but am not sure if this can go ahead at this current time. Anyone know what to do?

We're near to exchanging as well. The removal firm we're hireing are suggesting it's business as usual at the moment.

I'm not sure about removal firms - they may be allowed to keep operating as long as they keep the required distance apart.

But your relatives are not allowed to come out for this purpose, if that's what you're asking?  It doesn't count as exercise etc.

Take your time, the others are in the same boat, so meet and agree a moving programme. Tell the agents and the lawyers - they'll have to comply, and just be 'nice'!

And when you're in your new home, give a sigh of relief, and forget what the others said, have a pleasant tincture, because now ain't the time to be stressed...
