I am to put it bluntly addicted to radish, I love the stuff and grow around 60 a week, quite happy to munch on 4, 5, 10 a day

But them pesky pests are getting the lions share of late thanks to the rain we have had. I had a row of 60 growing nicely and now I have 15

So I have had a thought about hrowing them in root trainers, has anybody grown them like this before? I am thinking as they are deep, 32 in each tray and I can get them away from the pests then I am going to give them a go and see.

We grow our strawbs in big tubs and troughs which are sat on a staging made of pallets approx. 3' high. We've never found any of them pesky slugs and snails although woodlice seem to like going up there for the occasional munch. It also means you don't have to bend down to harvest them!
