First of all t way my peas of which one and a half rows have been ravaged, Then it was Cualis and Cabbage that were protected now its started on my freshly planted Beans and lettuce.

Peas and Brassicas' were protected from Birds and Peas were also sprayed against weevils, I have also put down mouse traps and slug pellets. Latest attack on the Beans looks like it took place last night.

There is no sign of any pests either dead or still loitering.

Any one have any ideas as at this rate I will have nothing left.

Mine looked the same last year and it was sparrows pecking them.

We don't get Sparrows over the allotment as its to open, plus I don't they would be capable of flying after the pea damage.

Beans and Cauli looks almost like caterpillars but its too early

If it was caterpillars, you'd see them or their droppings. Snails and slugs would leave slime trails. Any mammal would have caused more damage. So I'm thinking bird damage.

Last year we had some jackdaws causing havoc on our plots.  I saw one today peering in my new brassica cage that I had just planted up

Jackdaws can be a real nuisance on our plots with peas. Probably them.....

I  have had to spray against the caterpillars on my apple trees.  They are about.
