i have to say I was a tad disappointed in the last weeks beachgrove gardens as they seem to devote the prog to making nettle soup  :wacko:and the actual growing side of the prog was cut short I really hope its not going down the gardeners world road as that will be the end of a good gardening prog because we have unfortunatly lost all our proper gardeners that presented proper  gardening tips to would be gardeners

come back jim all is forgiven don't retire  :(hopefully the next prog will be better then theres always the chanell changer to come to the rescue

Yes i thought exactly the same , if nettles were so great the shops would be selling them !
Truth is they were eaten because that was all there was in the way of greenstuff to eat at this time of year .
Retro cooking fashion and novelty replacing  seasonal good growing advice !

. Same here disappointed!

.
From the sound of it with the new presenter, it is going the way of Gardeners World, no dig, vegan or organic, peat free, plastic free, chemical free, interest free, common sense free, only hope they don't start talking of top dressing everything with leaf mould, like Monty Don, as I have never seen or handled leaf mould in my life and I doubt if many other ordinary gardeners have either.

Hope they have got the worst programme past them with that one!
STOP, and smell the roses!
