How do I get a picture under my name and add a witty comment under my post. Everyone 's got one but me :cry:

Go to 'Profile' at the top of this page and it should bring up your details;
'Signature' is where you put your witty lines and upload pic for image, although if I remember rightly it took me ages to resize one small enough to load

ooo I like it i had a midwife like you second time round she was amazing. I did wonder why another midwife was always standing at the back of the room but wasn't in the position to chat to her!?!?!

Turns out i was her first that she'd got hands on with solo.  What a star she was!!!

Avatars are small pictures that display beside each post. Each user may choose his/her own avatar. To put an avatar up by your name you need to edit your Profile. Down to the bottom of the page and we get to Avatars.

You can either select from some pre-loaded avatars by pressing the 'select avatar from gallery: Show Gallery' button or by uploading your own avatar. Your own avatar will be unique to you, which is nice.
You can upload either from your own computer or a publically available location on the web.

Your avatar needs to be 80 pixels by 80 pixels in size and the file no larger than 6144 bytes. (6KB) To produce this you will need to be able to use some graphics software like Photoshop, Paint Shop etc. Most cameras come with some image editing software. Hint: use JPG or GIF (not animated please) since Windows BMP files are much larger.

Just browse to the location of the file on your computer, press 'Submit' and the image should magically appear wherever you have posted (including all historic posts).

If you can't do this – please contact a Moderator for assistance.
