Decided to weigh this ball head cabbage this morning, after taking the leaves off.  A very impressive (I think so anyway) 3.3Kg (that's 7.2 lbs in old currency!).  It's is now hanging in the shed waiting to be eaten.

as a matter of interest what variety did you grow I have produced large round cabbage in the past Brunswick cabbage but I found although it was large it lacked taste

haven't done very good this season with brassicas because of the dry weather and other things so you've done very well to produce that size cabbage

I am sure this was a "Langedijk" cabbage - I think that is how you spell it!
