Broccoli "Marathon"
« on: August 29, 2017, 18:51 »
We planted out 10 Broccoli "Marathon" plants on 6 May.  Whilst they look plenty healthy, with lots of leaves, there doesn't seem to be much sign of the central "spear" arriving.  Do they normally take this long, or am I missing something?  All advice gratefully received.

Sown between Feb and May - harvest will be between July and November- according to the packet

So I'd say give them maybe a couple more months.

I think that you will be getting the heads later on in October or even November.

As long as they are growing, they will indeed head up for you, freefolk. Plenty of time yet  :D
