Arh, if you have something that looks like but isn't comfrey, and hs blue flowers,  it will be borage, which is also a very very useful plant. My borage has just started flowering.

That's impressive. I haven't even sown mine yet. Frost kills it so am waiting a bit longer, although if the spring is going to carry on like this I could potentially scatter it around this weekend.

Looking at wiki, I am of the opinion, (not that that is worth a great deal as far as plants are concerned), that it is, (as suggested by Viettaclark and Comfreypatch, thank you both), Green Alkanet. Now, the next question is "what good is it ,or, how do I get rid of it??. Thank you again, arh.

As it is related to Comfrey, is it not possible that the leaves have the same plant nutrition benefits when composted or made into a tea?
