We have had some pretty ordinary weather this year so far and early summer has not been great but summer time is just around the corner!
I was just out doing a bit of hand weeding in the beds. I have basil planted between my tomatoes and the smell as I brushed the plants was heaven... just like you were about to have a huge Caprese salad what's not to like about that? I have a lot of toms starting to grow now but it will be a while before they are ready we are at least two weeks behind normal this year but if the weather perks up we will still get a bumper crop of sweet juicy tomatoes late August some for the table and a lot for preserving.
