I have 6 tomato plants and 3 cucumbers.
Last year I put 2 toms and a cucumber into each growbag, but is this a good way to plant them, or would they be better separated.
Also would either benefit from being closer to/further from the door - which is open on warmer days.

All the books tell you not to plant them together because the same diseases effect them. However people have been growing them together for years in the green house together simply because they had no where else to put them.

You just need to keep everything extra clean and try not to splash water around the leaves too much.

I put my cukes in the corners farthest from the door, which are a little more humid. In a particularly hot summer I can drape some plastic sheeting over them.

I don't spray water over them or the toms, as some places suggest, as it just increases the risk of Botrytis or Blight.

Thank you very much for your assistance. The cucumbers will be planted snugly in the corner away from he door tomorrow.
Will have to keep the triffid tomatoes under better control this year
