Cuttings from Cranesbills
« on: July 05, 2016, 17:30 »
Lots of advice on here about taking cuttings from Geranium Pelagarum(?) but can't see any on how to do the same with hardy geraniums (Cranesbill). Anyone know how please?

Dig them up, split the outside bits off in clumps and replant them. The inside bit, if they are old, is usually gnarly and not worth replanting.

A new plant so didn't want to dig up yet. Can you not take cuttings from a Cranesbill then?

Not that I'm aware of, someone else may have tried it, though.
