Smoke candles in greenhouse
« on: November 21, 2015, 11:25 »
Any advice on the best time of the winter use a smoke candle to disinfect my polly carb greenhouse?
I have cleared the tom plants out and washed the pains with Jeyes fluid.
Should i do it now, or wait until the new year?
Roger.

Depends which type you have and if you want to over winter anything in the greenhouse.  Most are designed for either late or early season use.

If the greenhouse is staying empty, I would leave it until next year.  If you have plants to go in there, its probably worth doing now, so it gives them a really clean environment to over winter in :)
