I have a couple of well established chilli plants. One is in the house  still has loads of chillies on at various colours.  What is the best way to try and keep chilli plants alive.  Should i still be watering them.  Should I take off all the chilli s. I have several still in the greenhouse and I am not expecting these to live.  Should I surround them with fleece. Thanks

Mine survived on kitchen windowsill last winter, if it's looking healthy just water it a bit and leave it. Mine lost all its leaves so I took the chill is off and just made sure it was barely watered and then potted on and gave a feed in the spring. maybe fleece the ones in the greenhouse in most sheltered spot. 
 Not much lost if it doesn't work.

I saved a plant and it grew beautifully and produced lots of chillies.

Trouble was though they all had to be composted because they had no heat whatsoever...
