If we have a not too cold winter and it doesnt get waterlogged, it will come back in the spring for another go, before running to seed.  Mine in clay ground never makes it thorough, but others on stone/sand have better luck.

Freezing I have never tried.  I feel that something with so much water in it would go to slush, but there must be a trick that the commercial guys use ...   :unsure:

I have frozen perpetual spinach and it has been ok. Cook it down then squeeze as much water out as possible. I then moulded it into balls and open froze before packing into bags.

Can I just point out before we have too many posts about chard   :D that New Zealand spinach which Anton is growing, is not chard - it is completely different.
nor is it 'perennial spinach'........look at the earlier posts it is something completely different  :nowink:
