I`m looking to move my strawberry plants, there currently planted in upright pallets (!), so i want to move them into a "proper" bed...problem is i`m re-thinking the plot over autumn/winter, so was planning on lifting the plants and over-wintering in pots for a spring plant out (once the grand designs have finished). Anyone see any probs with this?, offer advice?

If they're happy in the pallet and it's not in the way of your new beds, I'd leave them. If you need to move them, plant them in big pots so the roots don't freeze over winter. See what others say.

I kept mine in pots over Winter and they were ok for Spring planting, but I'd keep some fleece or sacking to hand, so you can cover them if it gets really cold.
