So it's not just your weather that's strange, Snoop 

It was very cold here in the end. We have a sheltered stone barn and it was 12 șC in there this morning. Very cold outside. Lots of things are looking very sorry for themselves and one of the aubergines has pretty well given up the ghost already. The pepper plants look awful and the French beans have gone droopy. Hope it's not cold again tonight... Fingers crossed for you too, MoS.

Last night I dreamt it snowed in August and was gutted because all my crops would die!

Hope it was just a dream and not a premonition we have had every type of weather in August apart from that...yet
