just turning the ground over I want to put some raspberries in autumn bliss what will I have to do next any advice out there

The main thing for me would be to ensure, when turning over the ground, that all weeds are taken out - especially things like couch grass.

Add lots of manure (personally I would buy this to ensure you don't bring in any perennials-after all soft fruit is a long term investment) or other organic matter and once the canes arrive make sure you plant them out immediately following the instructions about soaking and planting depth. They prefer a pH of 6.5 to 6.7 so you could check it (I never have) and adjust if necessary.

Have you grown autumn bliss before? Personally I found them a bit tasteless (although productive) so I replaced them with Polka which I was told had more taste but I'm not convinced.... I'm considering giving that space over to more summer raspberries which have a far superior taste in my opinion and would freeze well...if they ever got that far! )

I now grow Polka and found them better than autumn bliss, matter of personal taste I expect. I would not bother with soil testing. I've been growing raspberries for 20 years in soil which has a Ph of well over 7 and they thrive.
