Title says it all.  We have FIVE lemons on a small lemon shrub in a pot.  How to check which is ripest?

Bright (not pale) yellow and no sign of any green. But you can pick and use them whenever you like before then, that's the beauty of them, it's not like waiting eg for a peach to ripen.
