garlic gaps
« on: May 23, 2015, 21:05 »
I've a few gaps in the garlic bed which was originally planted at 6" spacing.  I was going to lob a couple of cos lettuce in there unless someone has any better ideas?

Sounds like a plan, or you could sow a few radish,  a French bean?

Beans aren't good companions for garlic. I'd go for lettuce or radish.

Im really pleased with the radish in cell trays this year. The 12 cell tray seems to be idea, I'll grab a picture when I have 5 minutes - one can only eat so many radish  ::)

I'll bung the lettuce in there then.
