Got our batch of "Free Summer bulbs"  from the daily paper and have just spent 1/2 an hour getting frustrated trying to find further information on planting.  Looking up the latin name and the text starts "During a charming walking holiday in Albania"  we saw a marvelous display. . .

I don't want to know about your walking holiday in Albania, all I want to know is how deep and how far apart! ! !

Why can't they just give you the information you require?

Mr. Meldrew - if you have the names (Latin or otherwise) try the RHS website. They are pretty precise in their descriptions.

Isn't bulb depth to do with the size of the bulb x 2 .  How many bulbs have you got? Are you looking to scatter or group?

I do agree with you about the need for waffle , not needed.
