I have just joined my local allotment shop and they gave me a free bottle of liquid seaweed ertiliser. Never used it before so what veg would benefit the most?

I don't look at it as a fertiliser, I think of it as a tonic  :) and use it when I transplant stuff, or when things look as if they need perking up......

It can go on anything though  :)

I find it very useful to perk up beans after transplanting from their pots.   Can also be used to feed tomatoes and peppers.

When i used to look after our bowling green i used to use Liquid Seaweed, think it was called maxigrow, as a wetting agent in the irrigation tank. It was also very good when used, in a week solution on new grass.
Jacks Magic MPC has extract of seeweed in it.

As it is derived from seaweed, remember to apply it at the correct state of the tide! :)

.

The New Zealand government does not allow it to be called a fertilizer, so it is labeled a tonic or extract!

The only reason I stopped using it was the extortionate cost!

When I used to live near the seaside I used to collect seaweed, it certainly worked magic on lettuces!

Cheers!
STOP, and smell the roses!
