[Hitman]

Hello everyone,

I noticed this damage on my kale today - which to my untrained eye looks like caterpillar damage - but are there caterpillars around at these temperatures?  If not, does anyone have a suggestion as to what it could be, and what can I do about it (organically)?

I'd say pigeons, need to net them,caterpillars don't tend to eat the ribs

I did find a few brown caterpillars around the garden yesterday, so yes, but I  don't think they are the brassica eating ones- I'd agree with snowdrops- probably birds.

would agree it looks like pigeons, mind you I was horrified to find a large number of cabbage white caterpillars on my black Tuscany kale today

pigeons and them pesky sparrows like a crafty peck too when your not looking
