Hi All

went to a plant fair today and they were giving/ swapping a load of heritage seeds. One of the packets I had was the tomato  Spanish big globe , I can find no reference to this variety of the web

any help please
such as planting time , taste, colour ect

Well, I haven't been able to find anything in Spanish, though it could be known locally as something different. I did come across this:

Another website gave its origin as Mexico.

Does it say anything in Spanish on the packet?

I had seeds of this some years ago from the Heritage Seed Library. It's  a cordon type, I found best suited to a cool greenhouse it never seemed to be too happy when grown outdoors but this of course will depend on the season.
Fruits can get quite large (not quite beefsteak size), thin skinned  and the flavour is excellent, certainly one of my favourites. You should enjoy this.
