Caring for Hops
« on: March 09, 2015, 14:54 »
On my newly acquired allotment I have a hop bine. The allotment was vacant for what I imagine would be a few months, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I need to prune it/whatever. I intend to make beer with the flowers.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

The common hop does not produce hops of sufficient quality to make beer.  Do you know what variety the vine is?
