I'll have you know that they were pretty damn difficult to clean, Goosey! The leeks therein had to be hoiked and heeled in elsewhere, and while the tiller is perfect for weeding, there's so much bending involved, that I had to keep doing the straightening exercise which was getting on my nerves and I had to talk to some of the other plot-people as well... So it's goose feathers at dawn for you an' me...! ;0)

Hey - so were mine and I don't have a tiller either. You should have seen the length of some couch grass roots I got out - as long as my wing-span they were but VERY satisfying to do! It's a shame that weed seeds don't adopt the same strategy as some seed packets, i.e. "could I have less of them please?
By the way, I know it's an abacus but Goosey's sense of humour somehow slipped past you there!

I bet my couch grass was ten times longer than yours too, and also if I'd been using an 'abagos', they'd have been TWENTY times as big!
